   Last month I visited an exhibition in Madrid about Robert Adams' work.
   It's a retrospective of this important Americain photographer and it's divided in several items with such inspiring titles as Eden, The new West, Summer nights, Cottonwoods, Along some rivers, Alder leaves, Turning back...
   I preferred above all others The Plains and Sea Stories.
   Coming home I stopped in The Plains of Castilla and when I arrived I went to The Sea of Asturias.

   El mes pasado visité una exposición en Madrid sobre la obra de Robert Adams.
   Es una retrospectiva del importante fotógrafo americano y está dividida en varias partes con títulos tan sugestivos como Edén, El nuevo Oeste, Noches de verano, Álamos, A lo largo de algunos ríos, Hojas de aliso, Volviendo atrás...
   Entre todas ellas mis preferidas son Las LLanuras y las Historias del Mar.
   Volviendo a casa hice una parada en Las LLanuras de Castilla y cuando llegué fui al Mar de Asturias.

   I was looking for a photograph when I stopped to refuel. I didn't know where Valentine had taken the Glencoe Pass photos in 19th century.
   The times have changed and sometimes it is difficult to identify a place after a lot of years, even in the everlasting Scotland.
   I asked the man of the petrol station, with the photo book on my hand...

   Andaba buscando una fotografía cuando paré a repostar. No sabía donde había tomado Valentine las fotos del Glencoe Pass en el siglo XIX.
   Los tiempos han cambiado y a veces es difícil identificar un lugar después de muchos años, incluso en la inmutable Escocia.
   Pregunté al empleado de la gasolinera, con el libro de fotos en la mano...

Danube / Danubio / Dunav / Дунав

   Danube Road leaves Central Europe and reaches Eastern Europe. There Danube has a different name in each bank but really it is the same name written in a different way: Dunav (croatian) - Дунав (serbian).
   Danube is the aim of the journey but this fourth trip was beyond Danube Road to the South Slavic countries, their borders and their rivers.

     La Carretera del Danubio deja Europa Central y llega a Europa del Este. Allí el Danubio tiene un nombre en cada orilla, pero realmente es el mismo nombre escrito de forma diferente: Dunav (croata) - Дунав (serbio).
   El Danubio es el objetivo del viaje, pero esta cuarta etapa fue más allá de la Carretera del Danubio, hasta los países eslavos del sur, sus fronteras y sus ríos.

   To be honest, I must confess that my photographs are turning to the cliffs and bays where seabirds and seals live.
   But take it easy, I have got a lot of road photos in my pocket.
   Let's go to the road again, this time across Poland.

   Para ser sincero, tengo que confesar que mis fotografias van derivando hacia las bahias y los acantilados donde viven las focas y las aves marinas.
   Pero tranquilos, tengo un montón de fotos de carretera en la cartera.
   Vamos a la carretera de nuevo, esta vez atravesando Polonia.
